Long lets available over the winter in a central Torquay location

For much of the year most of our guests are here to snatch a few precious days of relaxation from their busy lives and so are here for short breaks but we are also able to offer special rates for guests who wish to have longer stays or who would like to stay with us over the winter months.

Torquay and The English Riviera more generally can be a very attractive winter destination as our winters tend to be shorter and milder than just about everywhere else in the country and we have attractions and restaurants that open all year round. There are also stunning coastal walks which are perfect for the many crystal clear winter days we enjoy.

The Muntham Luxury Holiday Apartments and Town House are located in the Wellswood area of Torquay which is a highly desirable leafy residential area just a short distance from Torquay harbour and town centre.

The Muntham Apartments  and Town House offer guests high quality accommodation in a magnificent old Victorian building which has retained masses of original features. The apartments are well maintained and well equipped and have all been subject to a continual programme of improvement and upgrade.

With a variety of apartments available we can happily accommodate longer stay guests whether they are looking for property locally, between moves, visiting relatives or working in the area or indeed just wanting to enjoy an extended break away.

We have spacious studio apartments which have both got fully refitted bathrooms and kitchens, we also have one bedroom apartments. There is an onsite communal laundry which has modern washing machines and dryers. These are coin operated. Free detergent is provided.

Flexible long let periods and rates

The actual rate for an apartment will vary depending on the apartment required, the length of stay and the time of year. We generally take a longer let to be something over 12 weeks up to a maximum of 22 weeks and broadly speaking the winter let period runs from the beginning October through to the end of the following March. Rentals shorter than 12 weeks are also possible.

As a guide, our 12 week plus rates over the winter start at £950 per 4 week period for a studio apartment. Our rates all include utilties, WIFI, parking and a weekly bedding change. Our aim will always be to put together a package that will be attractive. We ask for a refundable deposit equal to 6 weeks' rent and for the rent to be paid by standing order every 4 weeks in advance. We do not ask for the full amount of the rental in advance. The apartments are exempt from council tax.
