Spooky Shows in Torquay

Local theatres have a number of spooky shows to send a chill through the audience.

At the Princess Theatre on 8th November (not exactly Halloween but not far off) there is the live stage show of Most Haunted Live presented by the legendary Yvette Fielding. Meanwhile there is the gothic spectacular The Rock Orchestra by Candelight which is presented on 15th October.

For those who prefer a more light hearted ghostly experience the Palace Theatre presents Laying The Ghost but you will have to wait until 13th february to see it.

Meanwhile, Torquay's Little Theatre really gets into the spirit of things with their production of Ken Ludwig's Baskerville which is a comdey take on the Conan Doyle Classic. This runs from 9th October to 14th October. This production is then followed on 18th October by The Haunting a play by Hugh Janes based upon Dickens's ghost stories. And then there is a thriller Who Killed Santa Claus? which runs from 13th to 18th November.

Our local attractions are also gearing themselves up for some Halloween fun.

The Babbacombe Model Village has got a whole range of spooky miniature characters, plus some full sized ones, a Pumpkin Hunt and evening illuminations (illuminations run from 25th to 31st October.

Meanwhile, at Kent's Cavern they have gone batty for half term - their Halloween events run from 21st to 31st October.

Torre Abbey presents The Abbey after Dark from 25th to 28th October and Bygones in St Marychurch has their own Halloween activities from 22nd to 31st October.
