And for anyone wanting to enjoy a little bit of a fright on a Halloween Break in Torquay there are plenty of ghostly and ghoulish attractions and events coming up.
Kent's cavern have a whole programme of Halloween activities designed for family visitors under the umbrella of a very batty half term..
The Caves also plays host to a pop up cinema event with screenings of films from 21st October through to 1st November.
Our local attractions are also gearing themselves up for some Halloween fun.
The Babbacombe Model Village has got a whole range of spookilluminations as well as a minitature Pumpkin Hunt and evening illuminations (illuminations run from 24th October to31st October).
Torre Abbey once again presents The Abbey after Dark from 29h October to 1st November.
Bygones in St Marychurch has their own Halloween activities from 26th October to 2nd November.
And finally Torquay Museum has Spooky Science Ninjas - Bringing Hands on Science to Everyone. This runs from 31st October to 2nd November.
